Safari / Expedition 

Farhat learned to dive in 1992. He is a BSAC Dive leader, NAUI instructor Trainer and a PADI dive instructor.  His images and artcles have appeared in dive publications around the globe since 2010. He co-owns The African and Oriental Travel Company.

A flight in the cockpit of a DC 3 led to an article in Airliner World Magazine. This in turn led to the profiling of major airlines and interesting airports. Hyderabad Airport, Turkish Airlines, Jet Airways, Uzbekistan Airways and Heli Services Hong Kong to name a few.   

Expeditions are easy to talk about, not so hard to organise, but can be trying in their execution.  Farhat started his journalistic carreer writing about trans african travel in a Landrover. The journey was extremely hard and unpleasant, but after doing it once- he went off and did it again in a different direction. Clearly it's an addiction. Whether it be paddling up the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea, or crossing the Sahara Desert, or a guided walk around Zanzibar, Farhat and his wife Francisca make this their speciality.
